Samurai drawings
Attached is a sketch that I am working on and may develope into a full color painting. It's a Japanese samurai that's supposed to be in the Momoyama period ( about 1600 AD ) . The armour represents the bare torso of the starving Buddha. Also, I had done a painting of Takeda Shingen 2 months ago ( see below ). The painting depicted him just before the Fourth Battle of Kawanakajima in 1561. Bigger image can be seen at : Takeda Shingen
