Tiger II of ssspzabt 503, Battle of Berlin

Here are some WIP images of the German Tiger II that I'm working on right now. The painting is about Tiger II #100 of the ssspzabt 503 during the Battle of Berlin. The background is Der Potsdamer Platz with Potsdamer Station in the middle. The station was demolished in mid sixties and the area was completely rebuilt with skyscrapers now. The Tiger II was believed to be commanded by Karl Heinz Turk.

Das Reich S33 Tiger I painting finished

Have been lazy for the last few days and haven't done much except doing some research and preparation for my next project. I am thinking about doing a painting of the SS Pz.Rgt.503 Tiger II during the final battle in Berlin. Got 2 photo of this Tiger and is now trying to establish roughly where it was in front of Potsdamer Bahnhof. Also, the German Das Reich S33 Tiger I tank is finally finished before the holiday. Attached is the image of the finished painting. I have a bigger image in my site:Kursk Tiger and the painting will be available as limited edition art print in late Jan. 2nd Rangers at Pointe du Hoc, Normandy 1944

This is a painting I had done a few years back. It's about the 2nd Rangers scaling the cliff of Pointe du Hoc during D-day, 1944. Their mission was to destroy the German batteries on top of the cliff but finding the guns were moved away when they finally got to the top. It's my first attempt to do a military art limited edition print, feedback is quite good, I even have five 2nd Ranger veterans who were in action during D-day signed on 5 of these Ranger prints and is still in my collection.
